Ones I do follow:
Honesty - I don't lie (except for on a rare occasion). Of course, one of the main reasons behind that is that every time I've lied about something it has gotten me in trouble. So I just don't anymore. And Truth is extremely important to me. I need people to tell me the truth about things. I can't stand not knowing.
Compassion - I can't help feeling for other people and wanting to help them. Probably the fault of playing too many games like Ultima and Quest for Glory when growing up. But I could still do much more.
Justice - I try to do the right things myself, and I am a mediator. I don't just jump in and blame someone. I hear all sides and then do what I can.
Honour - I don't break a promise. I don't promise something I can't give. I try to do the right thing.
Spirituality - I think a lot. Maybe too much. Which now means I know myself, people around me, the world, the meaning of life, etc. Of course, I could probably put that knowledge to better use.
Ones I don't follow yet:
Valor - I know so much and can do so much, and yet I'm afraid to do anything. I go through life wasting time because I'm too afraid to try.
Sacrifice - I sacrifice all the time. Helping others. Giving to charity. Leaving the last biscuit for someone else. But I know I have so much more to give, and yet I don't. I hold on to my wishes for selfish needs (despite not having the courage to actually take them anyway).
Humility - I actually think I'm... much more advanced than other people. I understand everything. I can do anything. I actually believe I might never have met anyone smarter than me. What's more, I tell people. Well... not all that. But that I'm really smart. And then I joke that I'm being humble by just saying that. So yeah... humility's not my best virtue. :p

Let´s see:
Spiritualty is still on the list... humility is so-so, but good... and the rest, well, being a doctor (or studying to be one) opens you to a world where nearly all those virtues are developed, both by you caring for them and through what they can teach you (medically and non medically speaking). That´s one good reason I like this thing. It does help to make you a better person (let´s just hope it works).

Oh don´t worry about that side of humility, I´ve got it covered. It is the old doctors that sweel with pride and are "never wrong". As a student, you are wrong until proven otherwise
. Makes up for a nice learning experience. And about the pre-med, down here the system is somewhat different, you get out of school and get into a university, study for 7 years (2 years for the basic subjects, 3 for the clinical teachings, and 2 for the internship) and then comes specialization. I´m in my third year, so that´s why I´m seeing patients (even though my university was apparently the first in my country to allow contact from 1st year with them). Enough off topic

The thing with humility for doctors is you can't be too hard headed or "prideful" to not at least listen to other opinions or facts, but you can be too humble that you don't have confidence in yourself and what you have learned--this esp. doesn't need to show to the patinent.
Essientially, have confidence but don't be too hard-headed to think that there isn't the possiblity that you are wrong.

Well this could get me in trouble. But hell, let's see:
Virtues I usually adhere to --
Humility: I've never forgotten my roots and how highly unusual it was for someone like me to make it to grad school. I always downplay my accomplishments to others. I don't brag or bring up said accomplishments unless someone asks.
Valor: I've gone into abandoned buildings in Detroit at 3am in the morning because I saw a shot that looked cool. I've done a lot of bold, borderline stupid things to get a good shot. Is it any wonder I find asking women out more difficult and ominous? But I do that too. It's amazing how often you can get your way when you get a little aggressive.
Compassion: As much as I'd like to be insensitive to the plight of people in need when I'm busy with work, I will drop what I'm doing to help when it matters/seems to matter. That and I feel for people who are suffering with seemingly no choice in the matter.
Spirituality: I have an extremely deep connection to matters metaphysical. This is a big reason why I take a heavy interest in the Ether and how magick seems to work in Ultima.
Honor: I stick to my own set of moral principles and generally attempt to respect those of others. I'm only judgmental and condemning of actions or systems of thought that expressly threaten my way of life or liberty.
Virtues I don't really adhere to:
Justice: People's own stupidity will do themselves in more often than not. I fully believe in taking advantage of the system for my own gain and have no regrets in doing so. This extends to occasionally using the ignorance of others to get ahead in my work.
Sacrifice: I am all for quid-pro-quo sharing. But will I give more than I get? Will I put truly precious things on the line when I may well get nothing out of it? No.
Honesty: I lie occasionally--usually without realizing it--but I firmly believe in deception and try to engage in that instead of lying. To lie is to expressly deny truth. To deceive is to communicate in such a way that someone thinks you mean X, but you really mean Y. I look at deception as an art form. I habitually deceive when it is convenient to make sure a situation doesn't get out of hand. I consider it on par with my concept of Justice: if you can game the system, game the system, with the system in this case being people.
Ain't I a gem? But hey, at least I'm honest
