We've done our favorite role-playing game.
We've done our 5 favorite role-playing games.
But to flog this aching near-dead horse straight into its shallow grave, I ask you:
What is the most mind-bendingly, numbing, atrocious, absolutely worst god awful piece of filth of a role-playing game that you have ever had the misfortune of surviving through?
A game that could make your PC or console weep tears of relief as you uninstall it or remove the cartridge/CD/device/etc.
A game that demands not only a refund but full coverage of your therapy bills.
...
And no, it cannot be any Bard's Tale game.

Shadowlands.
I got it for my birthday or something, and attempted to play it, but I kept dying of hunger within 5 minutes. What makes this worse is you start next to a bunch of apple trees which you can take the apples from. Yet I still died of hunger. Plus the game was just horrible. I would say more except I never got more than 10 minutes into it, so don't know the rest of the bad stuff :p
Basically, any game in which hunger does that much, I hate. (including Ultima 3... well... I don't hate Ultima 3, just playing it)

Mmmmm Final Fantasy Dream (or something like that), and that´s the only one I absolutely dropped. I´m not very demanding about RPG´s anyway
I´m getting home sick...

I can't think of any really terrible ones right off hand. The one I played the longest and enjoyed the least was Beyond the Beyond for the PS.
It was pretty long, hard, and really unforgiving if you forgot where you were supposed to be headed.

Dungeon Lords
I bought it with my hard earned money and when I saw it for the first time I thought it would be one of the best games I have ever bought, but third minutes later..... I was bored and I had a headache.
I unistalled the game and never played it again
After that I was very angry and start playing Ultima VII Black Gate to relax
They don't make games like before

Ultima 8. I'm pretty selective about what I buy and don't play too many RPGs anyway, but I didn't finish it, it was awful.
I deserve money, I reckon.

Hmn...
Anything console related, I would think.
I've always hated the Final Fantasy games. Oh, I enjoyed the storylines (At least what I've read outside the games.) but jesus... I don't understand what people like about console RPG battle and leveling systems. Turn based gaming is cool, but if I'm just there repeatedly hitting the "A" button just to keep my guy attacking every 6 seconds, I honestly don't feel like I'm making any strategy. Even a hack and slash requires more thinking process than that.
There have been numerous exceptions to this. Knights of the Old Republic, for example, managed to add a significant amount of strategy to turn based RPGs.
(Personally, I do not think that games like "Diablo" are roleplaying games... If someone wants to call Diablo an RPG, then that makes Gauntlet an RPG since the two are nearly identicle.)

Wizardry VI - Bane Of The Cosmic Forge
It's not the missing automap (I love drawing my own maps) it's just that the whole game was the most enormous dungeon I have ever seen, while the "story" itself would fit on a slice of toilet paper. And once I had finished this crappy and altogether far too difficult piece of #&%*
, I got rewarded with one of the worst and stupid endings I have ever seen so far (well, perhaps Doom was even worse, but that one hardly qualifies as a game
).
Well, I went ahead and bought part VII anyway, but I gave up somewhere in the middle because I had died of boredom.
