Hey guys.
Just thought I'd post here to let people know about a new remake I'm doing (I'm not sure I ever officially cancelled Infinity Eternal, but I realised it was too big to actually make).
I'm remaking Serpent Isle using the Oblivion engine. The plan is to make it basically a 1:1 remake of the original game, just in the different engine. Means I can work a little faster since I don't have to write dialogue for 1000 or so NPCs. I decided to bite off something I could actually chew this time.
I've already made substantial progress. It's only had around 3 months of actual development time (it was started in April, then I got sucked into LOTRO for the rest of the year), but already Monitor is mostly done. I've released a "demo" of it that lets you play up to the knight's test, and also lets you explore the world a little as most of the exterior world has been built.

Wow! That looked pretty cool. I wish you best of luck on your project because a Serpent Isle as an Oblivion mod would be cool to play since the PC pretty much travels solo for the most part in the orginal (at least that's how I played it).

Really? My serpent isle experience was rarely solo. But you can play like that if you want. My companions already follow you around though, and even join in conversations when appropriate.
