None too happy about this little piece of news, considering EA's pretty dire track record with studios and franchises. If Bioware can survive even for a little while, that'll be at least something.
I'm rather worried about Dragon Age, though...

Hmmm, good one. Ascension started off at Stonegate, so this is a vague possibility. Iolo's hut or the throneroom seem traditional... Terfin could be interesting! Or Buc's Den, or Cove.

From the outside looking in, the best answer I can see is "how long is a piece of string"... I guess it will be done when it is done!

A playable demo would be nice, perhaps, or even just an updated video of the current build in action.
As for the U9 items cheat, not entirely sure if that's possible to replicate using Morrowind's engine.

Oil and water - crossover games that wouldn't work? 18-09-2021 08:18 |

Somewhat inspired by Sage's comment about my avatar, what games do you think wouldn't work (or would take an unrealistic amount of mangling to get to work) with crossover characters?
Starting with: Sonic and Ultima? Could you imagine the blue blur running through the streets of Britain? And what about ol' Eggman? Without much in the way of tech, Ivo'd be somewhat useless unless he learns magic...

Heh! Cheers, Sage. Got a nice and varied list of game interests, and Sonic and Ultima are just two of 'em!
I remember playing Morrowind on my old Athlon 800. Hmmm, that was a rather slow experience! Fun, definitely, but slow. When I get the new (Linux-only) PC, I might just turn this old crate back into a Windoze (2k) box, just for playing Morrowind and NWN on.

Heh! Nice one there. How does that work?

True, the map is somewhat skewed, but I actually liked the idea of a shattered Britannia in U9. And with the dialogue patch, it was pretty OK (never bothered with it unpatched).

Hmm, that does look interesting! Never played Fallout 2, but the original Fallout was a lot of fun!

Indeed, the only way I was comparing Lazarus and Redemption is that both (through the respective tools released for the engines they use) are modifiable. And yes, I was suspecting the answer would be ESM.

Ooh, that is quite an interesting little ditty indeed, Corv! It does remind me of some of the U8 music. And it certainly sounds better on a technical level than some of the earlier music released, too. Better studio kit?
