I hope you aren't surprised if I say, I visit this site because I really look forward to playing Redemption and any other Ultima-based projects. I appreciate the fact that I have been able to share some thoughts here and didn't get a lot of criticism about it, something which happened to me at rpgdot. Well, some of that was due to the fact that I criticized a lot of recent games because of the direction the industry had taken the technology, to improve the appearance, but not the immersion and interactivity as the Ultima series had done.
I would have thought this "Role Playing General" area would have been enough, but if you prefer we discuss non-Ultima games and ideas somewhere else, of course I would go along with that, too. Could you add a choice "Yes, I am interested, but only if we can't discuss it here"?

Hm, I voted yes but I'm a bit undecided. While there aren't that many boards dedicated to good RPGs everything that may distract you from your work on Redemption should be avoided. It's probably not easy to gather enough people to enliven such a board without something that attracts them like a good newssite.

Hm, I doubt that a newssite could do a better job than RPG Watch and their forum isn't exactly overcrowded. RPG Codex has a very active forum for people who want to discuss RPGs and can stand the heat there.
Maybe it would be a better idea to develop this board into some kind of Ultima-Hub. A place for old and new Ultima fans with a Ultima related newssite (with a collection of links to all the scattered Ultima sites all over the internet) and subforums for the classic games, Mod projects (not only Redemption), other RPGs and the possibly upcoming new Ultima game from EA. Especially if there really comes a new Ultima such an Ultima-Hub could attract a lot of people. Just an idea.
