I just tried to install U9 for my annual Britannia adventure and ran into problems. To make a long story short I can't get the autorun to run to install the game. This computer is 2 years old and runs on XP. I have successfully installed and played U9 on this computer twice in the past without a hitch. Why would I be having problems now?

Well, you can also open up your "My Computer", then right click on your CD-ROM drive and select Autorun, while the Install disk is in there, and it should start up the autorun menu for you.

That's okay. You can also configure your Autorun properties by right-clicking on your CD-ROM drive and selecting Properties then the Autoplay tab. There, you can change how it responds to different media.
Back to U9, if I recall correctly, if you 'Explore' the disk, you should see an executable file called "Setup", if you launch that you can install the game directly without having to wait for Autorun to activate by itself.

Thanks, Ralph! I clicked on the setup icon like you said and it installed just fine. After that I put the game disc in just to see if the autorun worked for that and it did. I havent started the game yet, but things seem to be working now.
Thanks again for your help.

Hey no problem. The main thing is to install the 1.19f patch before anything else, unless of course, you already have the patched CD.
And since you're replaying the game, might I suggest also installing the unofficial patch by the former U9 team member, as well as the dialogue patch for a better experience.
