Hmmmm, what if you ask for better work conditions (a candle perhaps, or in the case of Zini some specially flavoured flies)?
Or maybe if you do, you will get summarily get "rid of" (i.e: "inactive" or "former" titans of ether)... the plot thickens... or maybe this cold is twisting my mind even further.

I hear once that an old programmer from the first team asked for an extra portion of rations for Christmas. They installed a hamster dual core processor in his head, took out his brain, hooked it up to an electronic interface, and made him code remotely for the rest of his days--just out of spite.

Aha, no wonder that Avatus had asked me to write a subquest about a worker in LB's castle who became a cabbage head and was curiously attached to hamsters.
