 What's your favorite Ultima character/NPC? |

One of the things I've always admired about the Ultima series is how diverse the types of NPC's were. Besides some of the unique humanoid races, such as gargoyles, the ophidian constructs, etc., you could encounter and talk with wisps, unicorns, dragons, and many other sentient creatures.
Besides a small plug mentioning that we've definetely held onto and expanded on that aspect of the Ultima series, I was curious:
Out of all the human, kinda human, and anything but human critters, what was your favorite Ultima NPC (which had at least some kind of dialogue)?
For whatever reason, my choice would be the Wisps. There's a quirky sortof all-knowing quality to them that has some underlying menace--and that combination is interesting. Plus I like the style of speech.

The Ferryman, that guy rocks. I believe that there´s more to him than just having been summoned by Horance the Liche. And he is bound for all eternity to that place, and is the only one character in the land who carries the Death Scythe... why?...

I really liked the Ferryman too. Had this very subtle air of humor about It, and it's the only undead creature/NPC I remember that was summoned rather than created. Gives It that otherworldly feel.
