We will have a change in our webhosting one way or the other. Either it will be a change within the current webhost or we will switch to a new webhost.
Either way, there could be a downtime in the next few weeks or months. I don't know the exact time yet, but I wanted to let all of you know as soon as possible so you know that the project is not gone if you encounter an error when you try to get on our site.
As soon as I have more details I will let you know.

Corv: is this anything to do with the annoying problem concerning the "Ultima Ring of Dragons" page loading over your usual home page? I know I have had trouble with this when I use I.E., but it also seems to happen now when I use Firefox as well.

I could not replicate your problem, but if it has to be and more people are repoting the problem I might just remove the Ring code.
It works fine for me on Windows 7 at home and on XP at work, IE and Firefox (didn't test it on FF 4 yet). Please let me know what versions of IE and FF you are using and to all the others: do you have this problem too?
So no it has nothing to do with that

I've been observing this website for the past couple of years now, but as the project nears it's end, and a matter I myself experience on the odd occasion, I thought I'd sign up and introduce myself, or, agree, as it were.
On the odd occasion I myself experience it, and have done so on both IE and Google Chrome. However, as Fred-A says, the problem ceases to persist when using Firefox, as they have a built-in pop-up blocker of sorts, as well as a built-in redirection blocker, which seems to be needed in this particular situation.
I'd be glad to be notified of the change of web-host too, Corv. I check the website at least once every two or three days of late. Wondering when March and April's update shall be coming. 
Haha. Also, is there any probability of any new pictures of how the work's going so far being uploaded?
I can't wait to see the finished piece. I just wish I could offer some help, it seems like any help would be welcome, especially this far.

I can confirm Fred-A's website issues. It doesn't happen every time, but every now and then the page will be replaced.
I use Opera 11.10, Firefox 4.0.1, and IE 9.0.8112.
Well they made it to port
everyone was ok
they went out to lunch
and felt better.

Yeah, this stupid Ring of Dragons thing happenes to me as well -actually happened just a minute ago. I have no idea what causes it, but it is very annoying. Especially interesting that it didn't happen to me 10 minutes ago.
Btw., I do use Opera 11.

Just an update.... or lack of update. I got transferred to the Ring again today when I came to the Redemption homepage. So the problem is still there.

Could you PLEASE rip out all that Ring of Dragons code and replace it with a simple link? It starts to get seriously aggravating that the Ring is always pushing the real site aside.

Thats part of it.
To be in the Ring you have to have the code in, but I start to not care if we are on the ring page or not.

For the last two days, I have been unable to log onto this site, just getting a screen that encourages me to use the site concerned for web hosting. Ah Ha! I thought. Corv is in the process of moving the site to a new provider as we were warned about. More success today however. I used IE7 and logged onto the site. I knew that it was (probably) up and running because the "Ultima Ring of Dragons" site appeared again instead of a suggestion that I might like to host my own websites there. Undismayed, I switched to Firefox and tried again. This time this site's home page appeared - for a second before the good old Ultima Ring of dragons appeared again like a bad penny. Second try and I managed to click on "forums" before the wretched Dragon ring page appeared so that I could post this.
As everybody else is saying, this problem is no joke. It is not associated with I.E. as Corv originally suspected as it seems to happen with all sorts of browsers. Furthermore it seems to have moved with this site to the new website host.

Hi there. Wanted to mention this since I had the link to your homepage as my bookmark that the link is wrong. Instead of cfkasper.de/ultima it's ultima.cfkasper.de (the latter sending one off to a page mentioning no web page existing. You can imagine my "oh no where did they go?" moment, but I'm glad a simple search of "Titans of Ether" led me back here.

Hi, Corv,
Still the same issue. I think it's a juxtaposition of the words in the address on the Homepage link. When I hover over it, it says http://ultima/cfkasper.de whereas what takes me to the actual homepage is http://cfkasper.de/ultima. The former takes me to that "Parallels Plesk Control Panel page which states that the web page does not exist.
It's just a matter of updating the homepage link. The rest of the links work just fine; it's just the Homepage one that needs correction.
