I don't consider knights trampling archers into a bloody pulp sexy, but maybe I'm just deviant Wink

But yeah, it definately looks very interesting - guess I'll have to pick it up!

I'm definately going to buy MTW 2. I have all of the previous ones, except for the expansions to MTW and Rome. I'm still playinjg MTW campaign for the 5th time now, and only occasionally hitting the real-time battles, but I'll definately be playing the real-time part when I install Rome and MTW2 soon.

I tried the demo for MTW2 and it was extremely enjoyable and fun... definately looking forward to it.

The one thing that I have been annoyed with so far in the Total War series is the lack of consistency with AI on the campaign map. One moment they are allies, next moment they start attacking me for no reason. Granted a surprise attack would make sense if they had the military to compete, but when its a suicide attack against a force 3 times larger than theirs, you gotta wonder Smile .

Yeah, in addition. I would see the AI attack another country's territory only to withdraw before the battle started, even though they had a sizable army and a chance to win. The same thing would happen with crusades. The AI never seem to accept that it can take some losses, or even to lose 50% to 2/3 of it's force, if it meant it would win eventually.

Heck, I would throw a huge force to conquer a territory knowing full well the other army was tough and/or had better arms and armor, because I would win the battle with moderate or heavy losses and it would work out for me since that army was mostly peasants or mercenaries, so I saved on the money, but gained territory and more income.

.... or maybe I'm just ruthless.
