Jimmy Malone: Hello there, team and fans of Ultima IX: Redemption. I have a few questions and I would like to know what YOU, the public, think as to what the possible answers are:
- When I was in Eodon, was I dreaming or did I actually see what the avatar told me was a wisp, near the T-Rex that guarded the urali tribe entrance?
- Were Triolo, Shamuru and Dokray the companions that I eventually knew (yes, one of my journalistic superpowers is getting the info in the end, but this time, I chose to keep it a secret so the DUDE you all know wouldn´t go murderous about me revealing anything) accompanied the Avatar in Britannia, or were they just interdimensional fans of those people, that chose to live a life in light clothing?

I´m getting home sick...

(I know it's thread necromancy, but I just can't help it. It's too good to pass up and we need some brevity around here Tongue .)

Hey Jimmy, nice to meet such a dedicated researcher. I heard that things got pretty hairy in Eodon, so I'll help you out.

I don't see why it couldn't be a wisp, but it's kinda suspicious that it didn't expect payment for the (obviously insanely valuable) information on Eodon. However, as it can be assumed that it has been separated from the hive mind that is the Xornite collective and had to do whatever it could to escape. Helping the Avatar was the most expedient method.

As for the companions, I think that they might be simply coincidental "echoes" of people who were spatio-temporally unstable, being foreign to the time-space of Britannia. As they do not truly exist in the time-space of either Britannia (shown by their slow aging when compared to the average Britannian) or Britannia (shown by their rapid aging when compared to the Avatar), it is possible that they are simply simulacra caused by the warping of space-time, explaining both their lack of knowledge of the companions proper and their apparent similarities. It is, of course, completely hypothetical, but if Eodon were to return to Earth's time-space, it could be tested.

My biggest question is not with the companions or the wisps, but with the... whaddayacall'em, Sarka? Sacchra? If Eodon is from Earth and the humans/Myrmidex (don't get me started on the Myrmidex) were brought to Eodon by the scalies, where did the lizardmen come from in the first place? Were they ancient Ophidians, the natural evolution of dinosaurs or something much more interesting?

I should have clarified - either the Naga (as far as I can tell, unique to Serpent Isle) or the Wildmen (again unique to SI). Both of which are at least semi-reptilian and could possibly be related to the Eodon lizardmen. I just love trying to splice loose ends.
