Will both games be released at the same time, or will you finish Redemption first and then The New King?

We will first finish Redemption.

Thanks Corv.

I am looking forward to it very much, as everything I have seen so far is great.

Another thing I was wondering about though, how will party members be handled? I remember it was a real pain in Morrowind when someone was following you. They often ended up stuck and I was afraid to accidentally kill them Smile

Dont worry, the companions wont be scripted like in Morrowind - so they won tbe annoying anymore, but a real help.

The Morrowind companion system seemed okay to me. My only problem was them running into the path of my weapons at times. If the AI is better, a better AI in regards to FFI would be a relieving upgrade all on it's own.

May just be style, I dunno. I don't run into problems with the 'following system' so much, probably because I use roads more often than running through forests or mountains. I only run off the trail if I feel like fighting monsters, and that normally doesn't happen when an NPC is following me.

So far, beyond a couple mods, I've only ever had companions where the NPC needed to go directly to another place. There was never much of a need to go hunting and thusly running through trees and stuff, causing them to get lost.

Ok, then I understand why you didnt run into problems yet... But in our 2 projects you will have real companions and not only quest-related followers. So its important that they dont get stuck every 10 inches Wink

Well, just as long as the little buggers don't go "I'm hungry! I must have food!" then I can put up with anything.

They WILL do that - you dont have to feed them manually, but you have to have food with you... And since we have a great cooking system you will have fun making food, trust me Smile
