After all the uncertainties after the team merging about who will stay, who will really work, who can do what etc... we finally have a settled team. The production motor is running better than ever and we are making steady process. (We still could use some 2D/3D artists though ).
I was working on new flora models. Especially on the animation of those. So you will see animated grass, bushes trees etc in Redemption - and they will move different when eg a storm comes up. This adds more atmosphere to the game than you maybe can imagine. Here a small preview shot of the new grass
The southern part of Britannia developes nicely. I hope you'll like it as much as I do. Its still alot of work though...
The whole fletching system is implemetned too finally. I needed less time for it than I initially thought
Now you also can already pick tomatoes, corn, mushrooms, flowers etc... - this part of the herbalism / cooking system is done too. Placing single corn, tomatoes, apples, etc to the plant meshes is also quite some work, but I think its worth it. So now you can finally really harvest in an Ultima (something I wanted bad for U7 - those apples looked so delicious ).
I am about to implement new weapons for the smithing system.
We are also creating new creatures atm like the giant squid Diddy made. Here a wireframe preview shot of it. Diddy is also quite far with the Deep Forest btw.
Operadragon and I are working on the plot and expecially on the beginning of the game incl. quests etc atm. Its turning out to be a quite *intense* first part of the game But more about that.. when you play the game
Direhaggis is constantly working on the dialogues and does a great job. He captures the feel of Ultima really well.
Zini aka Scripter From Hell found the best possible way to make companion horse riding possible. Another feature you never before saw in any MW mod (or in any RPG?).
I want to mention here again that also features we have in Redemption which were somehow done before for MW are NOT the same. We dont take a single feature without at least improving it (or making it from scratch).
There is lots of other stuff going on like Taddeus going crazy with the sound scripts but more next time
And last but definitely not least: Neloth (NelothsMouth on the MW board) who started the awesome project Morrowind 2005 cancelled it now and agreed to join us! (and all the work done so far for MW 2005 is now exclusive for Redemption.) Here are some pictures of his work:
Bottles
Cauldron
Mortar-pestle
Retort
Potion
I also want to remind all of you again that Redemption will need Morrowind and BOTH expansions to be played (because of scripting functions), so dont forget to buy it as long as its easy to get (Game of the Year edition for example).
Ok, thats it for today.... Feel free to post in the Redemption Forum if there are any questions _________________ Corv Dragon

:/ A lot of people are going to be disappointed by that. The whole modding community (or Morrowind community I should probably say) was looking forward to that.
Oh well. Looking good as always, Corv _________________ -==Thepal==- |

I thought someone wrote a horse-riding module for Dungeon Siege - the Adventures of Blackthorn team, as I recall. Or did that only apply to the player, not to party members?
