Ahh, finally someone that understands my cornfield
I never thought that this cornfield would be a base for a discussion, but I guess I underestimated the magic of such a field... hmm maybe we should put some aliens in there...
Thanks for the nice comments on the screenshots! Of course we will upload more screenshots from time to time. Not so soon, because now we fully concetrate on making the world really shine...
...and thank you in return for being excited about our project. _________________ Corv Dragon

Could always have a Kilrathi fighter crash into the corn fields again, and the Avatar uses it to bomb the Atarkan army to oblivion! |

I live really close to what was once a farming town, known as Hollis. (Currently, the place is being slowly bought out and being turned into a residential zone.)
There used to be a few fields over there, but now I can only find one. I've never really seen sparse stalks quiver and die individually... But then again I only see that field a couple times every few weeks.
As for the K'lrathi fighter... It might be good to throw something Wing Commander related somewhere in there. Just for nostalgia's sake. Both Ultima 7 and Serpent Isle had some form of reference to Wing Commander, I don't know about Ultima 8 however. |

Have Mark Hamill voice the Avatar. Or the Guardian. Or have a villian called the Blair Warlock. Or don't. _________________ Hi. |

Hm, to be honest, including another Wing Commander would be lame. It was funny the first time, mildly entertaining the second time. Enough. Personally, I don't like references to other games or worse, real world culture. It destroys my immersion when I play the game. Surely people remember Fallout II which was in itself a great game but the in-jokes were so overwhelming that it nearly destroyed the whole point of a future wasteland setting.
If people insist in such displays of humor, please hide it in some obscure level of a faraway dungeon. |

We did not plan to add something like that - I think its easy to see that I was joking with the Alien thing If we add humor like that then for sure as something that only can be found when a real freak tries REALLY hard to find it. _________________ Corv Dragon

It strikes me that I am but one of those among many on this board.
