At the moment, you open the forum inside a frame of the website. This makes you have to log in every time you visit, instead of it remembering who you are. Can you make it open in a new window, or not in the frame please? _________________ -==Thepal==- |

If you use the "Log me on automatically each visit" function when logging on you will be remembered. Works fine with me too. This has nothing to do with the window in which its loaded. I think its better this way because people still have the left side to navigate. If you prefer a new window just right-click the FORUM link and choose "open in new window" (or open in new tab if youre using mozilla). If the "Log me on automatically each visit" function does not work it must have something to do with your personal web-browser settings. It works 100%. |

I have the same issue of the board not keeping me logged in. I don't know why it happens.
Concerning frames...
http://www.karlcore.com/articles/article.php?id=2
Just google "why frames are bad" and you will find a torrent of people discussing how frames generally have a negative impact on user interaction with the website.
While your site doesn't look like this, for me it is annoying to view at resolutions at and below 1024x768 because the top and left frames take up what I consider to be a large amount of the screen. Thankfully I have a big screen and use 1600x1200 so it is not a big problem for me.
I guess you use frames to make it easy to add new content, which is seem less to update?
If that is so, you could switch to using PHP instead of straight HTM and use “includes” combining the separate sections of pure content into a single table and page. If you don’t have the time I am more then happy to do this for you…
Anything to get rid of the evil frames |

Same here. Frames are always the general pain in the backside. All it takes to open in a new window is add target="_blank" to the forum link, or target="_top" to just break out of the frames. The best solution would be to not use frames at all, of course. _________________ Dino the Dark Dragon

What?! Such blasphemy! I should shoot you right on the spot, but then there'd be one less remake to look forward to, so... I'll close an eye, like this:
Hehe. I have to agree with Corv that Firefox is brilliant. Firefox isn't spreading like wildfire for nothing. It's got so much that IE doesn't.
By the way Corv, I'm getting a "Page Not Found" error in the site's navigation frame. _________________ Dino the Dark Dragon

Thats because you still have the old index in your cache (or proxy). The old site simply doesnt exist anymore. So please clear your cache and gaze at the new Titans of Ether site!
