@Briton: If you have any questions concerning the mod feel free to post all of them here. You wont get flamed for opening new threads Smile

@GeistHundDragon: (GhostDogDragon? Wink ) Well, dont worry, the women whose jobs require it will have clothes that you will really like. I guess you will be a constant Buccs Den visitor Wink

Although: I dont really agree with the bigger = better thing. I think quality is more important. Best of course is a huge high quality game. Which is what we are trying to do.

@both: welcome to the boards!

I think that the weapons and clothing on this site is cool.

It's not much, but...
And one other thing, will i be able to select different parts from every set of clothing (like one hat, another pair of trousers)? I'm sorry for my ignorance, but i've never played Morrowind (Well, not for a longer time anyway, i am planning to buy it when you release this remake) so i dont know how this will be handled.

Don´t make glass armours... they tend to splinter a little when hit. Plus they are heavy, and need to be cleaned with a soft, wet cloth once a day... What would be cool is the possibility to wear cloaks over your head.

Way back in the day when I still played Morrowind with mods attached, I recall one mod that had developed fairly nice looking cloaks. The animation of it was slightly clunky, but then again my processor was more than slightly clunky.

You should give the Guardian something to wear (unless of course he a) uses a big red jumpsuit with eyes and mouthholes and inner lights to produce the "eerie" yellow glow or b) being a supermegaultraevil guy has the privilege of being constantly and uncensoredly naked)

The Guardian needs no pants! He has transcended pants!...

Or maybe not. Hmmmm.

I think it is time for another interview, from main reporter-hero-on-the-making-amateur-writer-thinks-himself-immortal Connor McLeod... in another post of course...

Clothing link:

http://www.maidmarians.com
Very good collection of different styles of more or less medieval style clothing. Mostly females. And mostly non peasant style. Give your nobles some love.

As for clothing 'requests', I don't know what all you got already, so I'll keep this short and only in general scale...

Belts shown, this was big letdown for me in Morrowind.

Jewelry maybe too?

Over armour clothing, tabards, tunics, sash (bodysash) etc

Shoulder cloak, or whichever it is called. The 'small cloak' which covers shoulders, little back and maybe little front. Depending on style. Non-flowy thing

Different 'quality' cloth for all styles.

Poor - With dirty broken dull colors
normal - Normal, but with dull colors
Noble/Rich/Fine - Normal, but with brighter colors

I don't think its too hard to recolor the clothing you already have. Just set saturation level down to more 'greyish'/brownish and add some dirt look with photoshop, and little scratches / cuts / burns / edit alpha to add holes and such.

As for who uses them?

Poor is used by the poor, beggars, scoundrels, and other lowbies of small no good communities *grin*

Normal is used by everyday life people. Peasants, shopkeepers, such

Fine/Rich/Noble, by fine rich and noble people. Shopkeepers in th ebigger cities. Commoners too in bigger cities.

More like small to med communities uses poor and normal clothing, while med (rich medium) to large uses normal and fine/rich/noble.

Crafting. While not directly on topic. When you get wool/silk/such, its rough first, made with rough = poor. If you refine, you get normal style. If you refine more (maybe some fine bleach to get it good to begin with) you can make fine/rich/noble clothing (fine soundsb est really)

http://www.huntingsociety.org/armor.html

Thats pretty much the best link I have seen for any sort of armor pictures, from museums etc. Very few pictures of lighter armors then Full Plate.

Most of them are from the rennisance period, and most were made for kings and dukes. I think that ultima in some way represents a much older era... Aswell I always saw ultimas favoring rather "plain" looking armors, the armors glow instead of look good Wink

*Edit* Ahh yes, and the kinda armors I would want to see in Ultima are the really basic kind, the kind you see in games like Mount & Blade (Which just shows how far one man can go in creating a game).
