Hi, I have liked this mod from the moment I found out about it, and would like to ask some questions.

1. When reading the dev diaries I get the impression that you focus a lot on scripting. Have you ever thought of redoing the fighting system? Like giving the player a disadvantage when shooting a bow in rain, or maybe implent a bleeding system, or anything else that conserns the fighting.

2. I was recently checking Wesmar out, and that mod really looked awesome. Now when the leader joined the Redemption team, was all that work for nothing? Or are we going to see parts of Wesmar in Redemption?

3. I donīt remember at the moment, but somewhere I read that The new king is a sequel to Redemption. Are you actually going to begin on another major project as soon as you have compleeted Redemption?

4. In the Media section on the homepage, you can find a map of Britannia, right? How come you are not releasing the names of the cities? Is it just that you donīt want to give away the timeline (if there is one)?

Yep, I think that was it. I am really looking forward to this mod, and did I tell you that it is a great thing that you keep the fans updated with those dev-letters.

Thanks

The focus is also a lot on scripting features yes (a thing other projects often forget...) And yes we think about the fighting system but we are not sure yet what we will add. But as soon as we come to this part of the scripting work I will let you know.

I cannot tell you what exactly happens to Wesmar, but there will be no parts of it in Redemption - the two projects have nothing to do with each other content-wise. But having Diddy as worldbuilder will of course bring the quality of that section to Redemption.

Yes we will...begin another major project.

The map you see there is quite old and very rough. The world as it is now is much more detailed of course. We maybe will release a new map some day. Yes there is a timeline of course but the impreciseness of the map has more to do with its early release than with anything else.

Hope those answers help a bit. Glad you like the mod so much!

Just one more question about scripting...Is it possible to change the leveling system? Like replacing the the current one with a XP-related system. Or maybe completely remove the current one and let the player rely only on his characters skills?

It's possible by making Morrowind never increase your skill levels. Basically, when you get 10 skills increased you increase a level. So if the skills don't increase then your level won't increase. That's all (I think it is all...) easily editable through the Settings in the Construction Set. Then you can just make leveling happen however you want.
