Hi!
Make sure you have the newest media player and then download this codec package:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/format/codecdownload.aspx
install it, and it should work.

| hmm got the codec but when i try to play, it still sends a request for a codec and fails to get it.......i even tried redownloading the file |

Manwé, there is a media player called "VLC media player "(it is free). With this, you don´t need any codecs, and it can play almost any media file out there.
Here is the downloadlink: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Just go down a little bit, chose your operating system and then download. I am sure it is going to work. |

I am wondering why some people have trouble, I just recently tried playing the video on a fresh installed Win XP system with the newest meda player and it worked...

Who knows? Codecs are finnicky like that, sometimes.
It is a pretty video, and the terrain is wonderful. In watching it again, the only thing I'd wish for (I know, I know, never satisfied...) is further exploration of that hill country behind the town. I keep seeing it and I just wanna race up there and check out the view from the top, looking down into the town.

Well, I intentionally didn't show everything from the island hoping that people who watch it would feel what you just described. Being eager to see something can be even more motivation for the final game, and this way you also still have alot to explore on the island and its not "boring" because its our presentation part of the game I also made the video now because I will add new flora etc to it soon and so it will look different in the end. So you haven't even really seen the parts of the island you actually *have* seen in the video I want the finaly game to suprise you all - every part of it (hopefully in a positive way ).
