Happy new year!

So it has started, the year in which Ultima IX Redemption should be released... I am still confident that we can do it although there is still a lot to do

A lot happened in those months we all work on Redemption now. Yes months. The game is in development for years now, I know, but we basically started over again when we, the Titans of Ether started to work on it as a new team in September. We took the best from the old work as a base of course. We work very hard to realize our vision of a perfect Ultima, making the vision playable for you all. Quite often when I work on Redemption I ask myself why noone makes games like Ultima (7) anymore, and why so few were made in the past. I hope one of my plans comes true and we can change that in the future... (more about that later this year). I played Gothic a bit when I felt like it to see again if its true that its so awesome like everyone says. And yes its a great game and certainly comes close to what Ultima once was, but at the same time its so far away from the magic an Ultima created...
I think, no I know, that we can deliver this "magic" with Redemption.

But enough rambling,... I can not tell you much interesting details about the work at the moment beside that its all going well...

Hmmm, from what I've seen so far I think this will be way better that Gothic...
