As most of you already know, I'm selecting clothing and armor for Redemption and I'm also making some new ones.
So...I was wondering if some of you fans could give me an idea. Is there a particular outfit from a released or WIP mod you'd like to see on a certain NPC? Have you seen a picture of an interesting outfit? If so, then post a link here! Your suggestions will be much appreciated!!

I'm going to make a request that U-IX: Redemption don't give the females in the game worl skimpy clothing. I never liked it when games like EverQuest make the women wear bikini style armour like Leia did in Starwars Return of the Jedi, and in some RPG games when they don't wear amour they have almost see though lacy garments. It just isn’t practical and doesn’t protect much!!!

I don't have any suggestions for what I would like to see, yet.

I guess this depends. If you're using Better Bodies then I can recommend some. If you're using the original bodies, then I can recommend some different ones, and some different ones for Smoother Bodies. And if you're using your own bodies, almost none of the clothing mods out there will work on your bodies probably.

I just want to be able to have a snazzy red cape! As for clothing I think you should have all kinds, see through and otherwise and let to player decide what to wear, hence the term roll playing.

We're using BB, but most of the most famous mods are already in. I put stuff from Silaria's shirts, some dresses by Korana, some stuff from Heaven's Lookout, some lovely stuff by Calislahn...I'm texturing the new, lovely meshes by NioLiv (I'm no Armani, but I'm trying my best)...and also Jeremy's knights and some stuff from MQB will be in, if I can obtain the permission to use, recolor and retexture their items (which I already asked and obtained for the other stuff...)
What I wanted to know was wheter some of you knew of some good, non-skimpy (sorry Sowser, it's a matter of lore...) BB clothing and armor mod I somehow missed in my search. I'm in particular need of clothes for males and good armor (especially leather armor that really looks like leather) for both males and females. Obviously, the decision on wheter to put it in or not is always up to me.
And...yes, Corv told the truth. I'm veeeery picky. I examined some 100 mods and chose about 10. And in those 10 I only chose about 50% of the stuff.

@ Sowser: what does snazzy mean? (sorry, I'm Italian and don't always know the meaning of some English words...) BTW capes will be in, if I find some that don't look too...well...rigid. All the ones I saw looked like they were made of hard paper...

Anyway, you're doing a great job, and keep it up!

FYI, everybody else...
We are keeping a VERY close watch on clothes and armor for continuity and just how each item actually looks. Corv wasn't lying about how meticulous Nymeria is, everyone, and to prove how meticulous we are all being about this, I can honestly say that the Clothes Team Forum thread is the longest on the board!

So keep the encouragement coming for these hard-working team members!!

anyhow, a quick intro I'm new to this board but not to Ultima. (played 1 thru 9 and the worlds of ~ and underworld 1&2 too) Didn't try ultima online, it looked awful.

seriously, the bigger the world the better right? I mean there may be a role for skimpy clothes - appropriately implemented of course. Eg characters whose ah jobs require it. An character that joins the party, whose err job it is is to attract men might well be justified not having much in the way of clothes to begin with. It would be lame to confine her to only being unclothed of course - its more fun to have a universe of possibilities, where an ex-hooker can turn into a battle-hardened iron maiden ala dungeon siege / diablo

anyhow, just my thoughts.

I think you guys are doing a great job, keep up the good work.
