I hate writing grants and doing the jobs of three people. I haven't had any time for the project and I feel bad.
My latest update is that the laptop I've been using for ~4 years finally went zoink on me. I have a Phoenix BIOS and start-up gave me a long beep followed by two short beeps. That means, I think, that my motherboard is toast.
I have no idea if I can replace the motherboard.
The good news is that my hard-drives are on there and are fine. I should presumably be able to get the data off them onto an external for ~100 bucks.
The better news is that I'm pretty sure my existing external has an up-to-date copy of all of the edits I've made in the last 5 months. God I hope so. If not, it's going to take some time to get all of my U9R files back.

Also many thanks to Corv for posting screenshots in lieu of my once regular updates. I have no excuse, other than I have continually gotten sidetracked by work or personal stuff.

What you need to do, at the end of the day. You shouldn't feel pressured by this stuff if you're simply too busy to contribute to it - it is, after all, not going to pay your bills.

I definitely want to tell the fans Vesper is coming out very well. Last night I worked on it to the point where my arms had knots and the pain was so bad I couldn't hold a mouse anymore!
..Tonight it's recovering so i will add more. Another week or two I think I can share some screen shots!

Nice to hear from you again D.H. but I feel that I must echo Sslax's comments. This project will not pay anyone's bills and us "greedy" fans just sit there anticipating playing another game on the theme which we have got to love and appreciate over the years (in my case since about 1983) for free! We all appreciate what you Titans are doing and we all know that, when it comes this game will be awsome, as I have posted before. Thanks for all the good work you have done to date and we all sincerely hope that you can continue when the pressures I have recently mentioned abate somewhat.

This project is fantastic, the devotion of the whole team just incredible.
@Direhaggis: you don't have to apologise for having a real life to manage. 
I have often considered applying for a writer's job whenever one was vacant (and I still find the idea intriguing), but have always refrained from doing so because I felt like I couldn't find enough time for it (job, family, friends, my own writing projects).
So again: thanks for all your hard work, and if you need some time off, have a well-earned break!

Why $100 to get the data out? You can do it yourself with a SATA to USB Adapter. No drivers required.
Becomes as simple as copying your data over. Or else imaging it onto the new hard disk...
And if it's bad RAM it'll be easy to fix. Of course you could use this to justify replacing your laptop entirely...

No power source for the HD. I bought an external chassis so I can just plug internal drives in and have the SATAs act as long-term storage.
Simplest solution was just to buy a new machine. Replacing the motherboard on a 4 year old machine made no sense.
